Hello world!

Welcome to my new blog. I've been out of the blogosphere for a few years, and now I'm back, focusing on Agile methodology, .NET technology and how to combine both.

Background

I took my first steps in Agile development in early 2000, when I became a web development consultant at Microsoft. I became especially interested in the disciplined, results-oriented, trackable yet not-super-formal way of development that was going on in Redmond at the time. At the company, my role was mostly architecting web applications for customers and advising them how to use Microsoft's tools (such as ASP.NET, Commerce Server and Content Management Server, which is now a part of SharePoint Server) optimally. Since leaving Microsoft in 2004, I continue to focus on architecture and have taken on the additional role of promoting agility and software craftsmanship.

If you love Scrum, MSF Agile, Extreme Programming (XP) and the .NET tools that promote the Agile work/lifestyle, you'll feel right at home here!
